Terms and conditions for entry into CCIA NSW Shows and Expos

Conditions of Entry

1. The event organiser reserves the right, with reasonable cause, to refuse entry or remove any person without entitlement to a refund, including any person who causes a disturbance, fails to comply with these Conditions of Entry or refuses to comply with reasonable directions made by event staff.
2. Visitors may be requested to produce proof of purchase for goods purchased at the event when exiting the venue. Failure to provide satisfactory proof of purchase may result in further enquiries by event security.
3. Refusal to submit to security screening may result in denial of entry or removal from the venue. Patrons must not bring prohibited items into the venue, including but not limited to weapons, firearms, glass containers, illegal substances or items, vehicles or other transportation devices (except where required due to a disability), alcohol, commercially branded takeaway food, or any item that may pose a safety risk, cause a nuisance, or endanger others.
4. Pets must be kept under control at all times and must not cause a nuisance or safety risk to others. The event organiser may require any animal to be removed from the venue. This clause does not limit rights relating to assistance animals.
5. The event organiser reserves the right to cancel, withdraw, postpone or re-schedule any displays or events in the event, without notice.
6. Photographs, recordings and other content captured at the event must not be used for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of the event organiser.
7. By attending the event, you consent to being photographed, filmed and recorded as a member of the event audience. Unless otherwise agreed with the event organiser, you consent to the event organiser and third parties using images and recordings of you for broadcast, publication and licensing without compensation or acknowledgement.
8. Unless authorised by the event organiser in writing, you must not conduct any commercial, political, soliciting, promotional, performance, surveying or demonstration activity at the venue, nor collect contributions or distribute any material.
9. Vehicles displayed or parked at the event must not be used to advertise, offer for sale or rent any product or service, or distribute promotional material, without the prior written consent of the event organiser.
10. To the maximum extent permitted by law, attendance at the event and entry to the venue is at your own risk. The event organiser is not responsible for any loss, damage, theft or injury suffered by you or to your property, except to the extent caused by the negligence of the event organiser or where liability cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Conditions of Entry excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
11. The event organiser is not responsible for cancellations, delays, interruptions or changes resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, public health events, industrial action, utility failures or government action.
12. Attendees must take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others and must not engage in conduct that may endanger any person or property.
13. In an emergency, attendees must follow all directions given by event staff, emergency services personnel and venue management.
