Come party with us at Coorabell Hall... RONA. is a Kaytetye producer and DJ whose sound is deeply grounded in the vast desert landscapes of her home, Mparntwein central 'Australia'. Blending the rhythms and landscapes of desert Country with the pulse of club culture, she crafts immersive sonic experiences that are driven from her life moving between many worlds.

On drinks & eats at Coorabell hall we will have the wonderful team from Salty Mangrove who have curated an extra special menu for us! These guys are a beautiful community eatery over in New Brighton and cook up truly beautiful fresh feeds & bevs.

"Working alongside Jet Black Cat Music for this show feels aligned - bringing thoughtful food and bar service into a room built on independent music culture, and adding to the night in a way that feels considered, generous and part of the wider ecosystem." ~ Salty Mangrove crew.

A sonic and visual storyteller, RONA. layers synths with the textures of Country, creating journeys that resonate with the soul and move dance floors. Since her breakout 2022 release, Closure, RONA. has emerged as a force in electronic music, building a catalogue that channels the deep storylines she’s connected to. Her Ancestors soundtracked the first sunrise and she continues their legacy, exploring rhythm, sovereignty in sound, and oral storytelling in evolving ways.

Her latest releases, Raise It and Burn It, push sonic boundaries in her practice while amplifying movements for First Nations justice and liberation. With a growing presence alongside beloved electronic artists like Four Tet and Overmono, RONA. has left her mark on major festivals, including Laneway, Pitch Music & Arts, Strawberry Fields, and Splendour in the Grass. Her Boiler Room debut at Sugar Mountain in January 2024 was a defining moment, a set of original music interwoven with nods to historical movements and resistance. RONA. is an artist creating music that centres connections to Country, self, and place across generations.
