For over a decade The Bird has been the home of original alternative music in Northbridge. Now an institution in live music we celebrate 16 glorious years with a 2 stage carpark party on Saturday April 25 and you’re invited.
From 4pm to late we will see some of the best new and established live artists and DJs showcasing their sounds and what makes The Bird special. Featuring live sets from Bad Whip, Noah Dillon, Gloss, Sarco, Georgia Raath, Cosy (first show in 3 years), Zerodent (first Bird show in 2 years), Solara and Clare Perrott plus extended DJ sets in the car park from Midnight Elevator, Club Silly b2b Redame, and Larry D b2b D33p Bork (vertigo).
2 years ago the bird called on the community for help to “Keep the bird flying” a vital fundraiser to get us out a tough spot post lockdowns, in its second year the fundraiser event helped us make upgrades and maintain our footing as an original live music icon in Perth.
In 2026 on our Birthday we continue the same event format to keep live music flowing and celebrate the stars who make WA a beautiful place to listen. All artists are paid and any money made will keep the Bird flying once again as we upgrade our awning, heaters, and DJ equipment before winter hits.
