Comedy Night | Chris Franklin, Dave Hughes & Lars Callieou

Get ready for a massive night of laughter as three standout performers from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival take the stage at the iconic Hepburn Palais Theatre.

Headlining the show is Australian comedy heavyweight Dave Hughes, one of the country’s most recognisable stand-ups and a regular performer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, where he has hosted Gala events and delivered multiple hit solo shows. Known for his dry delivery, unmistakable voice and brutally honest observations, Hughesy has been making audiences laugh for over three decades.

Joining him is crowd favourite Chris Franklin, whose legendary comedy song Bloke became an Aussie cult classic. A popular act on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival circuit and its touring roadshows, Franklin is loved for his relatable humour and sharp take on everyday Australian life.

Completing the lineup is international festival performer Lars Callieou, a seasoned stand-up who has appeared at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and comedy festivals around the world. With clever storytelling and big punchlines, Callieou brings a global comedy perspective that connects with audiences everywhere.
