Legends unite as MONSTR for The Best of MTV Unplugged

MONSTR, the all new Australian supergroup featuring Taxiride’s Jason Singh, The Superjesus’ Stu Rudd, Dragon’s Pete Drummond and The Screaming Jets’ Jimi Hocking are set to premiere the best of MTV Unplugged.

This one-of-a-kind performance will pay tribute to the legendary MTV Unplugged series, bringing to life the unforgettable hits by Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Eagles, Alanis Morissette, Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart and many more. MONSTR will inject their own special energy into these classics offering fans a totally unique experience.
MONSTR combines the legendary talents of four of Australia’s most iconic rock musicians, creating a dynamic all star band that redefines the supergroup genre. As they share the stage they’ll deliver a MONSTR performance like no other, blending fierce intensity and unmatched musicianship.

  • Stu Rudd (The Superjesus): As a founding member of The Superjesus, Stu Rudd’s stage presence, pounding grooves and musicianship are legendary. Stu’s ability to cross genres and fuse styles is unmatched in the Australian music scene.
