The Cherry Dolls - Black & Blue Tour 2018

Solbar, Sunshine Coast W/ Port Royal + More

Doused in malevolent riffs reminiscent of The Stooges, the cocksure self-assuredness of The Strokes, Melbourne based The Cherry Dolls are psyched to hit the road for an East Coast Tour in support of the release of their new film clip for Black & Blue,

Following the rapturous reception of their 2017 debut album Viva Los Dolls, The Cherry Dolls are making waves nationally with an ever-increasing fanbase built from the ground up with the bands relentless dedication to touring and their DIY or DIE attitude, packing out sweat-soaked venues all over the country and strutting their stuff with everyone from The Delta Riggs, British India and Spiderbait, to DZ Deathrays.

Boasting cataclysmic rhythms and thunderous riffs wild enough to send tremors through the very bedrock of Iggy Pop and Josh Homme’s souls. ‘Black & Blue’ twists and winds its way through a dark night of a soul steeped in mystery, love and pain, while flexing and pulsing with a primal frustration and piercing guitars.

The swooping, skin-shedding swagger of ‘Black & Blue’ was recorded and produced with Alex Markwell (Delta Riggs, Pretty Littles) at The Aviary, mixed by Michael Badger (King Gizzard) and film clip directed by George Arnold at Scramble Studios.

Be sure to catch The Dolls on the road before they settle in to record album #2!
