BULLHORN are a brass-powered hip hop collective from Meanjin/Brisbane, known for their explosive live performances, powerful horn section and thought-provoking songwriting. Blending hip hop, funk, jazz and brass band traditions, the group have spent more than a decade touring Australia and internationally, creating music that brings people together through rhythm, story and shared experience.
The band return with their new album, The Look Out — a ten-track collection of songs written across a significant chapter of personal and creative growth for the band.
Recorded throughout Meanjin/Brisbane, The Look Out arrives after years of touring, changing circumstances, hard lessons and shared experiences. Across the album, BULLHORN explore a simple but enduring question: What still has meaning when everything around us changes?
Driven by BULLHORN’s signature blend of powerful brass, hip hop lyricism and infectious grooves, the songs on The Look Out are united by a belief that connection remains one of the most important things we have. Massive horn arrangements, driving rhythms, heartfelt storytelling and festival-ready energy combine to create a record equally suited to dance floors, road trips, late-night conversations and live stages.
