Prepare to be captivated by the soul-stirring melodies and heartfelt storytelling of Americana Country Folk artist, Helen Townsend. With a musical journey that traverses themes of love, loss, and the power of positivity, Helen's music resonates deeply, inspiring listeners to embrace change and let go of limiting beliefs.

Helen's impressive accolades speak volumes about her talent and dedication to her craft. As a multiple winner of the WA Country Music Awards and nominee for six West Australian Music Awards, her impact on the music scene is undeniable. Notably, her song "Promised Land," co-written with Bill Chambers, earned her recognition as the 2023 Runner Up in the International Acoustic Music Awards.

Having graced prestigious stages such as the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville alongside esteemed artists like Catherine Britt and Melody Moko, Helen's music has transcended borders, earning her acclaim both locally and internationally. Her debut album in 2019 and subsequent EP collaborations have garnered attention, with her latest project charting at No. 6 on the American Folk Charts.

Now, as Helen prepares to unleash her highly anticipated second album, "Take it Or Leave It," the excitement is palpable. Featuring standout tracks like "Battlefield," which recently received a Laurel in the Cinefest Music Video Awards, and "Baby Come Home," a runner-up in the International Song Competition, this album promises to be a testament to Helen's artistic prowess and will be released August 2nd.

Joining Helen is her 5-piece band “The Wayward Hearts” featuring Shannon Smith, Lukas Murphy, Julian Anderson, Dave Johnson and Warren Harvey, playing a stack of familiar songs intwined with Helens originals.
