An update from event organizers at 19 December 2025:

A host of acclaimed musicians and DJs, alongside a lineup of speakers, advocates and community activists, will descend on PICA in Port Melbourne, Naarm for A Gathering For Gaza - a one-day fundraising event announced in solidarity with Palestinians and in support of vital relief efforts in Gaza amidst an ongoing genocide.
100% of profits from ticket sales, special event merchandise and bar sales at A Gathering For Gaza will be donated directly to Olive Kids, PANZMA, PARA and Médecins Sans Frontières Australia (Doctors Without Borders). Funds will be used to support their critical ongoing work on the ground in Gaza, providing essential services like medical aid, food and education, as well as supporting new arrivals from Palestine.
Uniting under the mission of keeping the focus firmly on Palestine, A Gathering For Gaza features a lineup of internationally acclaimed artists including Julia Jacklin playing her first Australian show in almost three years and Angie McMahon in her only Australian show this year. Also performing are seven-time ARIA Award winner Genesis Owusu, Tarab Ensemble performing classic Arabic music with a twist, Miss Kaninna - who has just wrapped up a UK/EU tour with Kneecap, Naarm-based Palestinian soul singer, songwriter and producer YARA, Folk Bitch Trio fresh off their world tour, DJ sets from Cut Copy, Harvey Sutherland, Merve, and a special pre-recorded set from Moktar that will feature his signature fusion of club, techno, and traditional Arabic instrumentation.

A Gathering For Gaza’ will now take place on Saturday 17 January 2026 2pm at PICA, Port Melbourne.
We’re deeply saddened by the tragedy that occurred at Bondi Beach on Sunday evening. Our hearts go out to all those affected, their loved ones and the wider Jewish community.
‘A Gathering For Gaza’ is about providing a place for people to gather, rest, breathe and importantly to raise much needed funds for Palestinians suffering in Gaza.
We all need a moment to process and grieve, and therefore will be rescheduling 'A Gathering For Gaza' to Saturday 17th January.
All tickets remain valid for the new date however refunds will be available directly via Oztix for anyone unable to make the new date.
Thank you for your understanding.
