PETER MORÉN (Peter Bjorn And John, SunYears) - Intimate solo show

Peter Morén is one of the founding members of Swedish indie-icons Peter Bjorn And John. He has previously toured Australia with them and played among other things Laneway Festival and Splendor in the Grass. He's now coming back down under to be guitarist/backing vocalist in Robert Forsters Swedish band (Peter produced his latest album "Strawberries" in Stockholm) and finds the time to do some intimate lowkey solo dates while here. Peter has recently primarily worked with his two lauded album as SunYears (2023s "Come Fetch My Soul!" and 2025s "The Song Forlorn"), sitting somewhere in between solo work/band. SunYears is driven by Peter as a new angle and fresh start in personal songwriting after a long life spent in music. With a variety of sonics ranging from wistful folk, Beatles-esque harmonies, psychedelic guitar jangle to shimmering balladry the melodic wisdom of SunYears on record has brought in guest vocals from Ron Sexmith, Fruit Bats, Madison Cunningham, Lisa Hanningan, Nicole Atkins and more. SunYears recently played at the heralded Kilkenny Roots Festival, Ireland. Peter Bjorn And John is currently touring behind the 20th anniversary of their classic album "Writers Block" with dates in USA/Canada, Mexico and Europe. Peter also recently released a collaborative single with Josh Rouse and played guitar on James Yorkstons three latest albums.
