After a fairly horrific shoulder dislocation forced Grace Robinson to cancel her debut single launch earlier in July, she’s finally back on stage with three singles to celebrate, a debut album on the horizon, and (hopefully) two functioning arms.

In a strange twist of fate, Grace and support act Tali have both recently recovered from shoulder dislocations, making this perhaps the most medically specific lineup Naarm has ever seen… They’ll be sharing a bill AND a mutual understanding of shoulder-related trauma at everyone's favourite afternoon pub.

Grace Robinson will be performing in full band formation, bringing her soaring vocals, big guitars and even bigger feelings to a sunny afternoon comeback show. And after months of rehab, she’s very excited to be back doing the thing she knows best: making noise and oversharing.

Grace Robinson has been in character her whole life: youngest booking agent in the country, electro-soul queen of Empress, choir director of Northside Musicians Choir — she’s worn every hat except her own. It’s an undeniable introduction, laden with Angie McMahon ache and Sharon Van Etten swagger, with choruses built for crowds to scream like it's their diary too. 

With distinctly Australian wit and an effortless sincerity, Grace sings unapologetically about family, pressure, neurodivergence and grief - all imbued with “obnoxious bogan energy” and softened by an edgy vulnerability, perfect melodies, a jazz trained voice and hard-hitting lyrics destined to become anthems. Beloved by everyone from the ABC and triple j to News Breakfast and PBSfm, Grace has sold out headlines across Australia, and toured alongside Middle Kids, JET, Hiatus Kaiyote and TOPS (CA). She’s appeared at Dark Mofo, Queenscliff Music Festival, Brunswick Music Festival and more. When she’s not pouring every cell in her body into a performance, she’s dislocating her shoulder in a rogue basketball match or cheering on the ‘Pies at the MCG. Despite Grace’s longstanding relationship with the Australian music scene, choppy introduces her as her truest self: a coming-of-age record made in the 26th year of life.
