In 2004, Australia discovered The Pigs. They, however, had known about themselves all along. T-Bone, Stretch, and their cousins Shamus & Bert had something special—an ewe-nique brand of music… Hillbilly Pop! A wild mash-up of Bluegrass, Country, Rock & Pop, all served with a bucket of fun. Some people even think it’s comedy… but they’re just having a good time! The Pigs have wowed audiences at festivals all over Australia and Europe, releasing five albums along the way. They’re known for transforming songs by Beyoncé, Powderfinger, Farnsy, INXS, Skyhooks, and even Carl Orff into bluegrass anthems—just as they were meant to be! But it’s their originals that fans remember most. Their hilariously quirky hit, Macho Moisturiser, has become an unlikely sing-along classic at Pigs concerts. Still rocking their blue singlets, The Pigs are an unmissable hillbilly powerhouse

Festival favourites, People’s Choice Australian Folk Band of the Year (2022), Golden Fiddle Recipients (2020) and 4 time “Bluegrass” Golden Guitar finalists, the Hillbilly Goats exude an undeniable passion for mountain music, the instruments and the harmonies. Their mission is to strip back the layers of modern music and transport you on a journey that began centuries ago when the immigrants first settled in the Appalachian Mountains of America.
Their recordings feature award nominated originals, but mostly paint a picture of traditional songs from 1710 through to the 1940’s with a high energy quirky edge.  Featuring Banjo, Bones, Double Bass, Fiddle, Tap Dancing, 3 part Harmonies and more, the Goats tell tales of the history of Mountain Music’s evolution into Blues, Country & Bluegrass.

So kick yer shoes off, put down yer hoe and hang on to yer britches, we gonna raise a ruckus tonight!
