The Groundswell are an Independent Rock band from Melbourne’s Inner East, comprised of four lifelong best mates: Archie, Patty, Jules and Ben. The four started jamming together through their love for rock n' roll and the connection that comes with it. Since then, they’ve headlined some of Melbourne's most storied venues such as The Espy, The Evelyn, Federation Square and The Prince, and were lucky enough to support act some amazing acts along the way such as The Rions, Radio Free Alice and Jessica Mauboy. In 2025, they headlined a packed-out Curtin Hotel, Grace Darling Hotel and The Punters Club.
As the band sets their eyes on 2026, The Groundswell have no plans of slowing down, starting the year with the Pt Lonsdale Lighthouse Party in February, a sold out headline at the Aireys Inlet Music Festival in March and a packed out interstate show in Adelaide Gather Round. With a new batch of songs and a renewed drive, The Groundswell set their eyes on their first show in Sydney at Vic on the Park!
