Hollywood Groove is launching a brand-new live entertainment concept at Sooki Lounge, Belgrave on Sunday 23rd August at 2pm.

This is not your standard Sunday afternoon gig. It is live music, movie trivia, singalong games, crowd participation and dancefloor fun all packed into one show.

The idea is simple: take the biggest songs from the biggest movies, put them in the hands of a cracking live band, add trivia, games and audience moments, and turn the whole thing into a fun afternoon out.

Hollywood Groove will be playing songs inspired by classic movie moments fromThe Blues Brothers, Purple Rain, Saturday Night Fever, The Bodyguard and plenty more. These are the songs people know, love and secretly want to belt out in public.

Expect big vocals, strong harmonies, guitars, keys, drums, bass and a front line of singers bringing the movie energy to life. Across the show, the crowd will be invited to join in with trivia questions, singalong sections and a few playful moments that make the afternoon feel more like a party than a sit-down concert.

It is built for people who love music, movies, a laugh and a good Sunday session. Come with a group, dress up if you feel like it, bring your best movie knowledge and be ready to sing.
