The Robbies are an independent alternative folk-rock trio dreaming their way into the Melbourne/Naarm music scene with ethereal vocals, glassy guitar tones and punchy drums. The trio are known for hypnotising soundscapes that transport listeners into a carefully crafted, dreamlike world of sound.
'Millipede Microphone' is a collection of the trio’s most personal stories, told through moody vocals, evocative lyrics and ethereal instrumentation. From meditations of peaceful nostalgia, longing and comfort, to laments of change, uncertainty and quiet disillusionment, the EP is ultimately an ode to the ways life forces us to grow up and move forward.
