Hayden Hack - Better Album Launch // Nambour // The Presynct

Hayden Hack, an award-winning South African songwriter and musician whose unique blend of guitar and vocals takes the listener on a journey through many layers of sound. Stacking guitar riffs, stellar vocals, drumbeats and many sounds in between, Hack transports the audience with his African inspired, looped, limit pushing, trance like inducing numbers. Hayden has recently released his 3rd studio album titled "Better" which was recorded at Yama Nui Studios on The Sunshine Coast. Produced by the one and only Paulie B and mastered by Paul Blakely. This album feels like the culmination of all of Hayden's musical learnings over the years, a place where he's found his 'sound'. After the band Highlife dissolved in the way many bands do, it took some time for Hack to find his groove once more. He has found it with 'Better'. Hack has just played Woodford Folk Festival and is playing a run of shows around the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and NNSW, with plans to tour up north later in 2025. Joing Hayden at the Presynct is Mama Buluku, an all-women's African inspired drum and dance troupe. Their joyous and high energy performances are a celebration of primal rhythm and the powerful life force it awakens within us all. Innovative choreographies combining traditional dance with playing of the big bass Doun Doun drums are accompanied by intricate polyrhythmic West African beats and woven with melodious song. Mama Buluku will uplift, excite and ignite whilst grounding your energy deep into Mother Earth!
