THREE OUTSTANDING AUSTRALIAN ORIGINAL ARTISTS, ONE GREAT NIGHT OF MUSIC!

THE BLUEBIRDS  are three of Australia's truly great country-folk artists: Gretta Ziller, Kris Mizzi & Taylor Sheridan together for an exclusive "In The Round" show.  These three incredibly gifted & original artists have decided to share the stage, share songs, share harmonies - and share some stories - for one exclusive night here at Hepburn Palais.

    About Taylor Sheridan:
Emerging from the vibrant, rolling hills of regional Victoria, Taylor Sheridan has ascended as a luminous force in the Australian music scene, celebrated for his ‘soulfully acoustic’ style. Most recently Sheridan’s debut album ‘Troubadour’ ascended straight to the top of the Aria Charts with the #1 country album for 5 consecutive weeks. Troubadour was also the #1 Independent album, #1 iTunes album with lead single ‘Hometown Love’ added to high rotation on Australian radio. Sheridan’s musical journey took root in the heartland of Australia, where his natural storytelling ability through music was cultivated. ‘I love the nature of telling a story with an acoustic guitar,’ he shares, ‘and singing soulfully has always felt like second nature to me.

With a repertoire that impresses, Sheridan has mesmerized audiences at some of Australia’s premier music festivals, including The Red Hot Summer Tour and One Electric Day at Werribee Mansion. His magnetic stage presence has seen him share the spotlight with music legends like John Farnham, Gladys Knight, Pete Murray, Daryl Braithwaite, Vanessa Amorosi and most recently touring nationally with Jimmy Barnes. As a former key member the iconic Australian band Taxiride, he has demonstrated his versatility and breadth as a musician. Don’t miss the chance to witness this extraordinary artist live, as he continues to redefine the landscape of acoustic music in Australia and beyond.

    About Kris Mizzi:
Kris Mizzi is a prominent Australian folk singer-songwriter known for his emotive storytelling, "strong and gentle" voice, and engaging live performances. He was awarded the 2021 Folk Alliance 'Australian Solo Artist of the Year'. Mizzi's music draws inspiration from the contemporary folk era of the early 1970s, and his songs are often described as weaving beauty, truth, and vulnerability into every line. His debut album, Some Other Morning, was released in 2019. Kris was awarded winner of the 2017 Troubadour Award and the 2021 Folk Alliance 'Australian Solo Artist of the Year', and been hailed by musicians and fans alike as a leading voice in Australian folk music.
