Turn up the volume for Boorloo/Perth-based pop rock artist Rosalie Chilvers, returning with her new single ‘TINY TSHIRTS’ on Thursday, April 30, alongside its accompanying music video. Whiplashing gusto and glitter, this glossy pop-rock anthem brings an unapologetic energy, built for the night out and louder feelings.

For the unfamiliar, at just 20 years old, Rosalie has made a name for herself, releasing her 2025 debut EP ‘Don’t Play in Traffic’ to a response that saw her supporting the likes of Hot Chelle Rae and several Australian artists, including PlaylunchFANGZ and Noah Dillon

Rosalie has also appeared at major festivals including Hyperfest (2024), SIDEFEST (2025) and Albany Pride Fest (2026), alongside being named a 2025 Sound States Mentee following her 2024 WAM Song of the Year nomination.

Now Rosalie's ‘TINY TSHIRTS’ is transforming heartbreak and confusion into something dramatic and cathartic, fuelled by sharp, punchy guitars that are explosive, loud and self-assured. This is accompanied by vocals and sassy lyricism that are pointed, gritty and relatable, embodying the confusion and fierceness that a first heartbreak brings. Brought together by the talented Reece Lenzo and Calvin Bennet, this tune is a glittery gut punch.

Rosalie Chilvers extends the story through visual storytelling, capturing the toxicity and lingering judgement that inspired the track. As explained by the artist:

"TINY TSHIRTS is a song about moving on from a toxic relationship dynamic, not only with your ex but with their family. The song was directly inspired by the night 2 years after our breakup, my ex's mum accidentally liked an insta photo of mine and it brought me right back into those feelings of judgement…Sometimes the ultimate answer to your problems is to put on a tiny t-shirt and go out with your friends.”

The music video traces the spiral set off by a single Instagram like, beginning with the moment she sees it and calls her friends over. From getting ready together to heading out into a blur of club lights and shaky camera angles, the night unfolds in a haze of drunken chaos and disorientation. Through it all, it is her girlfriends who steady the moment, helping her let go and actually enjoy the night.

Energetic and fierce, Rosalie Chilvers delivers a bold statement of self-expression with her untamed and candid new single. Drenched in punk, rock and pop, ‘TINY TSHIRTS’ is out Thursday, April 30, followed by a run of shows that will see Rosalie and her band perform in Perth and Melbourne
