Gutterfire - Upbeat doom" is a difficult term to use in a sentence, but it's the kind of enthusiastic punter description that Brisbane hard rock outfit GUTTERFIRE! have in spades, given the diverse sonic beast they've built on top of that foundation. Having kicked off as a band in 2018 to a lightning fast rise in the local scene and an even bigger 2019, they've survived the last few years that never happened and have sailed into 2023 stronger than ever. Having released the debut album Chill in 2021, 6 singles to date, also recently signing a licensing deal with Wormholedeath records for the international release of the album, and sharing bills with acts such as DreamKillers, The Poor, Frankenbok, Electric Mary, SixftHick, Black Rheno, Dr. Colossus, Astrodeath, The Black Swamp, The Brave & These Four Walls, they now have their sights set on the rest of the world.
THE WHISKEYS - 2 piece, boisterous, and heavy blues and rock band hailing from Northern NSW. If you can imagine ‘The Black Keys meeting ‘Royal Blood’, and then closing your eyes and hearing ‘Led Zeppelin’, then you have an insight into the sound they create.
In 2019, Benny Whiskey and Josh Larkin joined forces and took the Northern Rivers and Gold Coast by storm, leaving many onlookers wondering… ‘How do those two guys generate such a huge sound and vibe?!’. Together, the two skillfully blend blues, rock, reggae, funk, and an all-around good time to get everyone grooving. Having worked with success stories such as: Eliza & The Delusionals, Outshined, Morning Tide, The Coral Sea, Dusty Boots, Tay Oskee, and Jack Botts, they're ready to make some noise as 'The Whiskeys'.
