Hardkoori is an Aboriginal lead initiative that works to promote heavy bands with First Nations representation all year round with a yearly festival raising funds to give back to the community during NAIDOC week. After the success of the first show this year and while waiting for NAIDOC week to come back around, we decided to put on a show in between while we all wait. With new releases from Backhand and None For One in the back half of this year, there is a lot to celebrate in this space. The line up of Backhand, None For One, TBX and Grip Down showcases a diverse range of sounds, covering different subgenres of heavy music.
Hardkoori acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation where this event will take place. Hardkoori also pays respect to Elders past and present as well as all First Nations people involved in the event and those in attendance.
