Headlined by Newcastle-via-Tassie duo Poltergeist 9000. Built on a foundation of DIY ethos, the band pushes the classic drum-and-bass format through a blender of hyper-energetic punk and industrial grit. Drawing inspiration from the frantic architecture of Lightning Bolt, the audacity of The Garden, and the electronic carnage of The Prodigy, the duo has become a formidable staple of the Australian alternative scene.

Ponzi Scheme are a three-piece dance punk band from Newcastle, Australia that has been active since March 2025. Through cold tones of guitar, thumping bass and brooding synth, Ponzi Scheme draws influence from an amalgamation of genres including Post-Punk, UK Garage and Dark Wave to capture the sound of the steel city nightscape.

smallways. formed in 2023 and have quickly become Sydney’s most chaotic punk art duo. Combining drums, 5-string bass, and dual vocals, they craft a tense, hook-heavy hybrid of punk, hip-hop, and noise, swinging from melodic to distorted, landing somewhere between Viagra Boys, The Pixies, Talking Heads, SQUID, B-52s, The Garden, Amyl & The Sniffers, and System Of A Down, they’re familiar yet entirely their own.

Hailing from Newcastle, Australia, Gratitude is a rock band consisting of passionate, like-minded musicians with an objective to tear down bridges between genres and sub-cultures alike. With ex-members of two of Newcastle's finest alternative rock exports, Introvert and Eat Your Heart Out, the band are approaching this new chapter of their collective musical endeavours with a fresh perspective on what defines heavy music and how it connects people with both their sound, performance and one another as an audience.
