Nausicaa: ‘Dreams Like These’ Album Launch
Continuing the live momentum of their recent self-run shoegaze night for Brunswick Music Festival, Nausicaa now take over Shotkickers for a debut album launch that promises to be as visceral as it is ethereal.
Known for their "explosive noise catharsis" and a fiercely independent DIY ethos, Nausicaa has spent the last year solidifying their place in the city's underground scene.
Nausicaa’s music exists in the tension between haunting minimalism and abrasive grit. Drawing on the ghostly melancholy of Mazzy Star and the raw, avant-garde power of PJ Harvey and Sonic Youth, their debut record, Dreams Like These, captures a band in constant evolution.
