THE WICKHAM’S ICONIC LGBTQIA+ FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 20TH YEAR WITH SPICE GIRL LED LINE UP

Big Gay Day is marking its 20th anniversary on Sunday 8th March 2020 with a stellar line up of International and local acts, headlined by former Spice Girl Mel C and her band of drag performers, Sink the Pink. Electric Fields, Cry Club and The Regime plus local legends Being Jane Lane and a host of fabulous DJs and drag performers will fill out the diverse line up.

The major event will be raising funds for 6 local LGBTQIA+ organisations – Queensland Aids Council, Brisbane Pride, The Australian Transgender Support Association of Queensland, Open Doors Youth Service, Diverse Voices and LGBTI Legal Service.

The Wickham Hotel will be transforming Alden St into an explosion of colour, glitter and rainbow love with the street lined with pop up bars, games and activities and food trucks. The venue will also be opening all floors of the venue, with 3 spaces of the hotel filled with entertainers and festival fun.
