Pinky Beecroft, the former front-person of Machine Gun Fellatio, returns to Brisbane to celebrate the release of "Lonesome Wolf," his first full-length album in two decades.
The evening will feature Pinky with a full-band line-up, plus an opening set with Pinky at the piano in intimate solo story-telling mode. He'll be playing songs from his back-catalogue as well as showcasing selections from his new album, scheduled for release in early August. There will be some deep cuts for the true believers, some MGF favourites and some eccentricities from the Book Of Beecroft.
In his own words: "I want this to be a night to remember - which, for me, is really raising the bar because I don't remember whole years of my life. But I made a new record, I'm inordinately happy with it and I can't wait to play it to people. I want people to love this one much more than anything I've done before --- so I'm going to try harder than ever before to put on a truly mind-blowing show. I have some great musicians, some special guests and a surprise or two in the setlist. It should be a properly fabulous night"
