August familiarisation tour and Networking event

Get ready for our next Volunteer Familiarisation Tour! On Tuesday, 18 August, we are heading to the beautiful Redcliffe peninsula for an exciting afternoon of venue tours, followed by an exclusive sunset networking cruise.

Logistics for this event are a little different to give everyone maximum flexibility. You can join us for the full afternoon (tour + cruise) or just the tour.

Here is everything you need to know:

🕒 The Schedule

• 1:30 PM – Redcliffe Famil Tour Begins We will meet in Redcliffe to kick off an insightful afternoon visiting some fantastic local operators. We'll be touring:

  • Game Over

  • Scarborough Holiday Village

  • Proximity Apartments

  • Bespoke Cycles

  • Speedy Scooters

  • The Gelato & Ice Cream Factory (yum!)

• 4:00 PM – Sunset Networking Cruise We’ll head to the pier to join local tourism operators on board Brisbane Whale Watching for a spectacular sunset cruise and networking session.

• 6:00 PM – Return to Shore The boat will dock back at Redcliffe, wrapping up the day.

🚗 Travel & Logistics

• Choose Your Adventure: When registering, you can opt to join us for both the tour and the cruise, or just the afternoon tour if you need to head off early.

• Carpooling: To make travel easier and more sustainable, carpooling to Redcliffe is highly encouraged! We will help coordinate rides once registrations open.
