The Tradition continues with one of the Tamworth Country Music Festival’s longest running and most popular shows, the famous Longyard Bush Poets Breakfast!
Each year Bush Poet Neil McArthur puts together a team of Australia’s funniest and favourite Comedy Poets and Storytellers to join him on stage and bring two hours of mayhem and hysterical yarn spinning to enrapture the huge audiences who turn up day after day, year after year to this event.
Eight Days and Eight completely different shows, where storytellers such as Marco Gliori, Murray Hartin, Errol Grey, Ray Essery, Alan Glover, Rhonda Tallnash, Bill Kearns, Gary Fogarty, local lad Joey Reedy and many others tell their original yarns in Poetry and Song, stopping only to allow the audience to wipe away the tears of laughter or to avoid them choking on their delicious breakfast!
This year will see a few new performers, even more hilarity and Aussie madness with some new, competitive Poetry Battles.
