KANEO AYANO RETURNS TO AUSTRALIA — NEW LINEUP, CLASSIC HITS EVOLVED
Following a hugely successful Australian tour last June — where two out of three shows sold out — Kaneko Ayano returns to Australia in May 2026 for an expanded national tour.
Fresh off a sold-out show at Tokyo’s legendary Nippon Budokan in January, Kaneko Ayano continues to cement her status as one of Japan’s most compelling and influential contemporary artists. Known for her emotionally raw songwriting, magnetic stage presence, and powerful full-band performances, her live shows resonate deeply with audiences across borders.
This upcoming Australian tour will feature a wide selection of fan-favorite songs and past hits, alongside more recent material — while also showcasing a newly solidified band lineup. With Sei Nagahata (drums) joining as an official member, alongside Hirotoshi Hayashi (guitar) and Takuyaiizuka (bass), the four-piece band “kanekoayano” is entering a fully realized new phase. Their sound is more powerful, faster, and rougher than ever, yet still capable of moments of striking delicacy — a dynamic balance that signals a complete and evolved form of Kaneko Ayano’s live expression.
Marking another milestone, the tour will also include Kaneko Ayano’s first-ever All Ages show in Australia, opening the door for younger audiences to experience her music live for the first time.
Intimate yet explosive, vulnerable yet ferocious — Kaneko Ayano’s return to Australia promises a series of unforgettable shows.
