The Botany View Hotel, in partnership with Young Henrys Brewery, is thrilled to present Newtown Sound, a new weekly live music event showcasing the vibrant talent of Sydney's Inner West. Every Friday night will transform into a celebration of original music, offering a platform for emerging bands to connect with new audiences and build their fanbase.

Aircrash
Formed in 2023, Aircrash is a three-piece experimental rock band from Sydney, blending elements of jazz, prog, and punk into an energetic yet dynamic sound. With a focus on exploration and creativity, Aircrash brings a fresh take on experimental rock in Australia.
Brendon Moon
Sydney based alternative singer/songwriter Brendon Moon brings his soaring, androgynous vocals and captivating musical instincts to the modern rock soundscape. Evoking rapturous dream states and lush ethereal otherworlds, Moon’s sound is delicate yet commanding
Raintalker
Sydney four-piece alt rock band Raintalker blends big melodies with driving rhythms and and introspective lyrics to confront the realities of heartbreak, mental health and social and environmental justice.
Raintalker have released four singles to date, with their latest, "Runner", picking up spins across Australian community radio and backed by a run of gigs through Sydney.
