The band plays something like heavy punk-emo with danceable beats, singing about subjects such as drinking too much, politics, hating AI, social media, American imperialism and questioning love and that. Flowers in the attic is a folk-punk emo band formed in 2024 by Elijah Kelly (Dear Rat Boy, Spooked Diving Headbutt), blending heartfelt folk storytelling with raw punk energy and emo’s emotional depth. Their music explores themes of loss, isolation, and personal struggle, driven by haunting vocals and intricate guitar work.
