Oscar the Wild

Since their inception in 2018, Oscar the Wild have left a lasting impression on every room they have played. The band, born out of school music ensembles and propped up by life long family friendships, have left their mark with their unique brand of indie rock, punk and pop.

Their live show has proven them, time and time again, as a force to be reckoned with, and has seen them opening up for the likes of AC/DC, Bloc Party, Amyl and the Sniffers, The Beths, Grinspoon, Pale Waves and many more, as well as playing festivals such as Harvest Rock, BIGSOUND, Mountain Goat Valley Crawl & Vintage Vibes.

Their hard work and dedication to their craft saw the band winning 2 awards at the 2025 South Australian Music Awards, receiving 'Best Group' and 'People's Choice Rock'. They have shown that they can create environments where people feel they belong, doing this through their laid back and personable approach and the deep feeling of connection explored in their lyrics. You can tell the band are close, and they just want to pull you in.

After the release of their debut EP, the band experimented with different sounds and lyrical themes, which culminated into their Sophmore EP "Blue", which portrays growth and their reluctance to being pigeonholed. The band continue this growth which can be seen in their latest releases 'Sunrise' and 'Ghost'. It's hard to put Oscar the Wild in a box. Instead, they have the tools to build their own.

Sawcy Paws play melodic garage punk, pure and simple - no whistles and just the occasional bell. Sawcy Paws have been bringing their energetic show to stages, sheds and backyards around Adelaide since early 2018. They endorse resting bitch faces dad jokes and Simpsons mashups.

Emerging from the depths of Yarli (Lake Albert), in the “place of mud” Meningie, South Australia, Mudlake are a blues and roots outfit with their feet in the mire and their souls on fire! Forming in 2024, Mudlake quickly found a chemistry that helped them forge their eclectic taste in music into a live show that takes audiences on a sonic journey.

With a fast-growing repertoire of original pieces, they draw from the songwriting depths of artists such as the poetic Dylan, the positive spiritual grooves of Marley, and the minstrelsy of Jethro Tull.

Find yourself on the plains of Troy as “shields pound like thunder” in the rock-infused lament The Battle. Soar as an eagle “under heaven’s vault” as philosophical themes are carried by ambient, desert-blown guitar tones in The Eagle.

Currently working on their debut EP, featuring the single Country Boy, a celebration of the simple pleasures of country life such as “a fat sow for lard and a Jersey for cheese.”

Mudlake are guaranteed to capture the imagination of your ears, enchant the fabric of your mind, and uplift the wings of your spirit.

When Loren Kate finished secondary school, she set out in search of adventure. Armed with only a guitar, a backpack and a few dollars in her pocket, she jumped on a train and travelled 800km to Byron Bay on the NSW North Coast. In this bustling coastal town, Loren Kate began busking and learning more about music from the local street folk. It was here, at age 18, that Loren penned her first song. It wasn’t long before the crowds began to gather to listen to her stories.

Loren Kate is now an award-winning artist and has earned the reputation as an utterly captivating performer and brilliant storyteller. Loren has played countless sell-out shows and festivals all over the country.

Loren's new record, titled, 'Nobody Knows' was recorded and produced by Shane Nicholson, at the Sound Hole, NSW. The album is a timeless collection of stunning new songs. With raw emotion at the forefront, wearing her stories and life experiences on her sleeve, Loren Kate once again bares her heart and soul for us to hear.

Castle Plaza is an alternative rock band formed in 2025. Initially beginning as an outlet for husband and wife duo Dan Linke (guitar) and Kewpie Rose (vocals) to write whimsical guitar songs, the band grew to include Harry Visintin (bass, vocals), Sean Kemp (guitar) and Dani Slocombe (drums).

The band draws from a pile of influences; shoegaze, hardcore, musical theatre, post-punk and indie rock being just some of the styles absorbed. The band’s debut single, “Castle Plaza II”, was released in February 2026; a noisy, glistening number with devastating lyrics channeling 2010s era vampire romance fan fiction. Their first, currently untitled EP is scheduled for release later in the year, with the bulk of recording completed at Twin Earth Recording in May.

Castle Plaza return for their second consecutive Rockatoos Reclink Fundraiser, having been formed a month prior to play the 2025 edition.
