Great Southern Nights Presents
Katy Steele

Katy Steele is an Australian based artist who originally fronted the esteemed group ‘Little Birdy’.

Now a fully formed solo artist who treads on the line between indie, pop and singer songwriter. Katy’s first solo album was the tasteful ‘Human’ and recently followed that up with ‘Big Star‘ in 2023. This album received glowing reviews and saw Katy head out on a 15 date national tour in support of the release.

Off the back of ‘Big Star’ Katy Steele is set to embark on an intimate duo tour in March 2024 to celebrate her upcoming single 'Broken'

Each space on this tour has been carefully chosen to showcase the intimacy of Katy's solo performances.

Delivering reimagined renditions of tracks from her solo albums "Human" and "Big Star," alongside rare cuts from her Little Birdy catalogue these solo shows offer a rare opportunity to connect with the deeply personal narratives of her solo work and for long time fans to relive the magic of her time with Little Birdy.

Adding an extra layer of musicality will be ‘Grammy’ Katy’s principal current collaborator who will use a variety of different instruments to create a rich and dynamic sound palette. These shows will not want to be missed.

Great Southern Nights is a celebration of live music and will feature a taster series of performances acrossEnmore, Marrickville, Newtown, Parramatta and Penrith for ten nights from 16-25 November 2023 ahead of afull program in March 2024.
