Tim Pledger is the leader of Bohjass, the internationally acclaimed experimental free jazz band from Melbourne. For this trio he is joined by Stephen Hornby and Phil Collings as they explore some of Tim's open ended tunes.
Stephen Hornby is an Australian double bassist, composer and the creative force behind the award-winning ensemble Koi Kingdom and +F:rst Sunn+. Based in Melbourne, he blends deep jazz roots with a contemporary global perspective, creating music that is both lyrical and exploratory.
A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, he received the 2025 Art Music Award for Work of the Year: Jazz with Koi Kingdom.
