Mood Swing & Chevy Bass have cemented their place as one of Australia’s most electrifying live electronic acts and undisputed party starters of the global festival circuit.

The genre-bending duo conduct every show like ringmasters of a bass-fuelled circus live remixing, multi-instrument slinging, and pushing crowds to surrender their inhibitions to the rhythm. Their signature sets are famously described as “funky in the front, filthy in the back,” weaving bass, disco and funk-infused party starters into thick, rolling house and heavyweight low-end chaos.

But it’s not just the music that turns heads.

With a flair for costumes, theatrics and pure spectacle, no two shows are ever the same. Expect wailing keytars, tribal percussion, samplers, horn sections, electric cello and whatever else fits inside the sonic circus that night. It’s immersive, unpredictable and unapologetically high-energy.

Since launching in 2015, Mood Swing & Chevy Bass have toured extensively across North America, Europe, New Zealand and Australia. Highlights include multiple North American tours, a sold-out MSCB Block Party in Whistler, and appearances at iconic festivals including Texas Eclipse Festival, Shambhala Music Festival, Boomtown Fair, Rainbow Serpent Festival, Splendour in the Grass and Strawberry Fields, just to name a few. 

With multiple releases on Westwood Recordings, Box of Cats, Hexagon and a growing catalogue of international collaborations, the duo continue to expand their sonic footprint while staying true to what built the movement in the first place: connection, chaos and full-tilt dancefloor energy.
