Stage and Storytelling - FT: Gaia Scarf & Cooper Lower
Stage and Storytelling returns with its second live showcase: two extraordinary independent artists, more than one fireside chat, and an unforgettable night of music.
In a world run by algorithms, Stage and Storytelling puts live performance back where it belongs: front and centre. Cooper Lower, hailing from south-west Victoria and now living in Melbourne, opens the night, playing two sets of four songs either side of a thought-provoking conversation about the music and the man behind it. Then it's over to Gaia Scarf, originally from Katoomba in the Blue Mountains and now also calling Melbourne home, who'll do the same: real conversation, real songs, twice over.
To finish, Cooper and Gaia join forces for something created especially for this night, and this night only.
Stage and Storytelling gigs are more than songs played one after the other. We celebrate the craftsmanship of song and invite artists into a space where they can tell their stories, about life, music and everything in between. The night is filmed, photographed and the audio captured, so the story keeps travelling long after the last chord is strummed, for those in the room and those who tune in later.
This is your chance to enjoy two exceptional talents, hear what drives them in their own words, and watch a show shaped with genuine care and craft.
