Toyota Star Maker & Wheelhouse Agency Presents
Wade Forster - The Drifter Tour
with special guest Jarrad Wrigley
Dirty Harry's (Toowoomba City, QLD)
Sunday, 15 December 2024 1:30 pm
Wade Forster releases his second single, Chemistry, and announces 7-date tour.
Chemistry, follows Wade’s thought provoking Off The Drugs release, both singles beautifully produced by Simon Johnson at his Hillbilly Hut Studio on the Central Coast.
Wade has answered the call to fans and also announces today his seven-date The Drifter Tour presented by the Wheelhouse Agency, to commence at the end of November, following his tour with Tyler Hubbard.
He said: “The Drifter Tour is going to be so much fun. I’ve been hoping to line up a tour for all those people who have asked me over the years to come play closer to them and now I finally get to do it. Not only that, I’m bringing my band and a whole range of special guests.”
Wade has been ticking off a list of ‘firsts’ this year – first ever national radio airplay for his single Rodeo Romeo, first ticketed and sold-out show, first national tour support with good mate Lane Pittman, first time to Nashville’s CMA Fest and first time touring with his own backing band.
Following his CMA Fest performances, Wade took a brief trip to Texas and announced to his Tik Tok followers that he would be busking outside Chief’s Record Store in Fort Worth. Despite giving only three days’ notice, over 300 fans showed up to meet the cowboy from down under. Some fans travelled up to six and half hours to meet the Star Maker winner, with most singing along to his songs.
Wade will open for Tyler Hubbard, multi-platinum-selling artist and former member of Florida Georgia Line when he heads to Australia for his Strong World Tour in October, promoted by TEG Live.
