Coco Elise is the genre-blurring indie project of Western Australian producer and songwriter Josh Ellis, crafting a sound that feels equal parts its own thing and familiar. Blending indie folk textures, soft rock warmth, and left-field pop sensibilities, Coco Elise builds songs that warm you with personality and their intimate yet unpredictable songwriting.

The project is also among the most played artists on RTRFM, has received consistent play across Triple J and won song of the year at the WAM awards for their 2025 single ‘Colour the Stencil’.

Following a national tour in 2025, Coco Elise has shared stages with artists including Maribou State (UK), Donny Bennet, Sycco, Playlunch, Sex on Toast, and Jazz Emu (UK), steadily building a reputation for its captivating and unconventional live performances.
