INJI (Inci Gürün) is a 23-year-old Turkish-born, U.S.-based dance-pop artist redefining what it means to make music
for the dancefloor. After a childhood spent studying classical piano at Istanbul’s Conservatory and later immersing
herself in choir, jazz, and pop while living in the U.K., she eventually landed at the University of Pennsylvania’s
Wharton School. What began as a hobby soon became a career when her tongue-in-cheek 2022 breakout single
“GASLIGHT” went viral on TikTok, introducing millions to her sharp lyricism and irresistible beats.
