Taking over the southern suburbs this year, Soundcheck '26 is more than just a festival—it’s a launchpad. Designed by young people, for young people, this innovative one-day forum and showcase is the ultimate bridge between the practice room and the professional stage.
THE EXPERIENCE
Start your day by cracking the code of the music industry. From 11:00 am, we’re hosting a series of expert-led panels featuring heavy hitters from across the industry, community radio, and professional management. You’ll get the inside track on:
Marketing Your Band: Mastering social media and brand building.
Managing Your Career: How to talk to bookers and secure paid gigs.
Releasing Your Music: Navigating royalties, distribution, and pro recording.
THE VIBE
After soaking up industry secrets, grab a free BBQ lunch catered by The Bowlo and network with mentors, producers, and fellow musicians. It’s a safe, family-friendly, and inclusive environment where the local community comes together to celebrate our unique cultural vibrancy. THE SHOWCASE From 1:45 pm, the volume goes up. Experience the “Best of RAWKUS Live” Showcase, featuring seven of the most exciting emerging bands from Melbourne’s southside. These are the artists who are about to blow up, performing 20-minute high-octane sets to show the world what they’ve got.
