Sam Collins is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based in Mulubinba/Newcastle, known for his versatility, instinctive musicianship, and ability to adapt to any stage he steps onto.

Whether performing solo, as part of a stripped-back duo, or fronting a full band, Sam brings a dynamic and emotionally grounded presence that connects across settings.

A familiar face in the local scene, Sam is currently the drummer for Bardvarkk, after first stepping in on bass and quickly becoming an integral part of the project. Prior to this, he served as the lead guitarist of Cardboard Castles, shaping his foundation as both a performer and collaborator. His experience across multiple roles has developed a well-rounded approach to music, with a deep understanding of arrangement, rhythm, and live energy.
