Artist Bios:
BIGFATCRUSH is a Naarm-based vocalist performing original songs that weave a unique tapestry of rnb, pop and live dance music. Inspired by artists such as Yebba, Joan As Police Woman and Anita Baker, and backed by a heavy-hitting four-piece band, BIGFATCRUSH will bring you a joyful and eclectic collection of musical textures, ranging from slow and mysterious grooves to up-tempo disco.
Whicker is a four-piece from naarm/melbourne, creating jazz influenced-dark pop music inspired by fiona apple, portishead, pj harvey and the like. Hoping to put you in a moody trance whilst having a groove.
Jag is a raw, genre-bending musician from Melbourne. Incorporating elements of spoken word, effortless phrasing and grit, she engages with audiences fearlessly. The Artist In Question, her current outsider-soul project, is influenced by the oddities of Frank Zappa, Solange and Arthur Brown. Through her alter-ego SSFN37<3 (Soul Sister 37), she revolutionises the standards of musical value to radicalise and defy society’s understanding of tradition. With an experimental album due for near release, Jag is showing audiences that she is an artist to look out for.
