Quagmire Magazine and Orko Productions proudly present Fantasy Synth extraordinaire Quest Master (NSW) live in Melbourne for the first time, with very special guests Tir (NSW), and Lurid Orb (QLD), who will also be making their Melbourne live debuts.
Quest Master, having just returned from a successful overseas tour of the US and the UK, now embarks on his conquest of Australia. Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and now finally Melbourne will get to hear his epic unique blend of dungeon synth and vapour wave for the first time and bear witness to his original live visuals which incorporate nostalgic 80’s fantasy/science fiction and video game wizardry.
Also performing in Melbourne for the first time will be enigmatic Dark Folk/Dungeon Synth mastermind Tir. Originally from Türkiye but now residing in Australia, Tir portrays a shadowy landscape filled with visions of mystery, an aura that embraces the cryptic and arcane and is sure to leave the audience utterly enchanted. Opening the evening will be Brisbane’s Dungeon Synth Guru Lurid Orb. Blending both musical and visual offerings to the Elder Gods under the most dark and mysterious of rituals, Lurid Orb also makes his debut live performance in Melbourne and will conjure unto the audience ethereal offerings from his recent acclaimed masterpiece Folded Visions.
This incredible trio of artists will be coming together to celebrate the launch of Quagmire - Australian Dark Mystic Music Magazine’s third issue. Following on from the sold-out issues 1 & 2, Quagmire 3 is a professionally printed limited edition 210- page full colour book featuring interviews with Erang, Quest Master, Fogweaver, Sombre Arcane, Out of Season, Peter Beste (True Norwegian Black Metal), Ancient Meadow Records, Chaucerian Myth, Nahadoth, Illusionment, Silvana Massa and Arcana Liturgia.
The book even comes with an accompanying professionally dubbed cassette from
Sydney’s Orko Productions featuring songs from all artists interviewed including exclusive unreleased tracks from Quest Master, Sombre Arcane, Chaucerian Myth, Illusionment and Arcana Liturgia!
