Party Dozen aim to start 2025 as they finished 2024. Playing to loads of people in Victoria.
It was a big ending to a huge year for the noisy two-piece. In October, Party Dozen celebrated the release of celebrated album Crime In Australia by playing their biggest-ever domestic tour. Boosted by achieving Feature Album on both RRR and PBS, the Melbourne date at Brunswick Ballroom sold out well in advance.
November saw them play 20 gigs across Europe, half of which were opening for local heroes Amyl & The Sniffers at their massive sell-out shows in France, Germany and Benelux, the other half a headline UK tour (including selling out their first proper London show) and some choice European festivals such as Le Guess Who?.
And the cherry on what was already a delicious cake was Meredith. Dropped into a juicy 9pm Saturday slot in the dark, Party Dozen took on and won over a crowd several multitudes bigger than they'd ever played to before.
Now, having got the taste for it, the duo are returning south in February to play a very special stand alone show at The Croxton. With guests to be announced in the New Year, and tickets priced with cost of living in mind, it's going to be a real party.
