Joshua Mzila, born in Singapore and raised in a Zimbabwean household, draws inspiration from Eyedress, Men I Trust, Clairo, Vansire, and Yot Club. Brodie McKinnon, the Australian-born half of the duo, is influenced by Cuco, boy pablo, Alice Phoebe Lou, Juice WRLD, and Her’s.
