"Here they are, ram-raiding the England capital sounding like an after-hours punch-up between the MC-5 and Hamburg-era Beatles...By the time The Gnomes stagger off stage after a short, sharp 30 minutes, the room feels as detonated as it is entertained." – Classic Rock Magazine
Melbourne garage-rock four-piece The Gnomes will close out a massive year with a run of December dates across Australia, including a specially-curated mini festival at The Croxton Bandroom in Melbourne.
Hailing from the ocean-side suburb of Frankston, The Gnomes spent 2026 proving their ramshackle, high-voltage live show translates anywhere. Following the release of Magic Man, the band made their international debut at The Great Escape in Brighton, playing multiple sets to packed-out rooms. Headline shows in London, Glasgow and Manchester followed, including a sold-out debut at Third Man Records Soho and a sweaty Moth Club show complete with mosh pit and crowd surfing.
The critics took notice, with high praise from Clash, Classic Rock and MOJO, and support from Triple J, BBC 6 Music, NTS, Radio X and Apple Music.
Back on home soil, The Gnomes hit the road nationally with Australian rock legends Spiderbait, winning over a whole new wave of fans night after night. They head back to Europe for a November festival run taking in Iceland Airwaves in Reykjavík, Pitchfork Paris and London Calling in Amsterdam, and a span of much-hyped headline shows that are on track to sell out.
Drawing on Mersey beat, sixties garage and the snarl of the Stones and Stooges, The Gnomes write punchy, hook-laden songs built to be played loud, and their live reputation has grown with every show.
In December, fresh off the plane and firing on all cylinders, the band are bringing it all back home. Catch the "must see" band where it all started, before 2027 takes them even further afield.
"Good time music played by some good ol' boys, their garage punk meets power pop brew is completely infectious. A ridiculously entertaining set." – Clash Magazine
