Formerly known as the Men of League, The Family of League is a not-for-profit registered charity, mainly run by volunteers, which raises funds for people involved in the great game of Rugby League, who may have fallen on hard times.

Around 75% of all funds disbursed goes to women & children and on Friday 29 November 2024, The Tweed District Committee is holding our major fundraising lunch at the Coolangatta Hotel with a cavalcade of fabulous speakers & special guests attending, including Rugby League’s recently inducted 14th Immortal,
Ron Coote AM, and we are openly seeking your support by attending our fabulous lunch.

We’re thrilled to invite you to a truly special event—the Tweed District Committee of The Family of League’s 20th Anniversary Luncheon! Come and celebrate 20 years of camaraderie, support, and community spirit.
Enjoy a fantastic afternoon with a two-course lunch and a three-hour beer and wine package for just $150 per person, or gather your friends and book a table of 10 for $1,400.

The afternoon will be hosted by Neil Pringle and Steve ‘Chimes’ Gillis and will feature an exciting lineup of guest speakers, including:
Two-time, Melbourne Cup winning jockey Peter Cook, former world top 10 golfer Rodger Davis, Rugby League legend Preston Campbell, and the much-loved comedian Paul Martell.
