Tarntanya/Adelaide based "post-pub-rock" outfit Ricky Albeck & the Belair Line Band are having a fun year. Ricky’s recently announced new album Expensive Music will be released on November 6th via Bedroom Suck Records and on November 19th, Ricky & the Band will join us at The Curtin for the Naarm/Melbourne launch of the album. 

The first 2 singles “Playing Pool & Drinking All Night” & “Spend the Night” feature both blisteringly loud feeding-back country rock guitars (think Drive-By Truckers, Neil Young) & on Playing Pool and heartbreakingly tender lyrics & floating violin & slide guitar on Spend the Night. 

Ricky will be joined by the full Belair Line Band made up of Ella Ion, Louis McDonald, Tom Spall, Harry Freeman & Jackson Wright for their 15+ date Australian tour this summer as well as some incredible.
