Sanfona **FREE ENTRY FRONT BAR GIG**

Sanfona (trio) perform 2 sets in the Wesley Anne Front Bar on Friday 10th April, 2026 from 6pm. Sanfona blend French and jazz styles, exploring original arrangements and compositions inspired by European artists such as Richard Galliano, Django Reinhardt, Serge Luc and Ludovic Beier. Their music is a unique mix of gypsy jazz, bebop, funk, and contemporary jazz creating both high energy grooves and improvisations and colourful harmonies. There are also elements of Basque folk inspired jazz music from their love of the music by the Serge Luc Quartet. Sanfona have been featured on radio jazz shows such as 3PBS :Global Village; Joy FM Bent Notes and 3CR: Swing'n'Sway. Sanfona have performed at venues, festivals and events including Phillip Island Jazz Festival and Club; Brunswick Artists Bar; Bar 303; Nevermind Bar; University House, Melbourne University; Lilydale-Melba Festival, 2025; Bar 1806; Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show and Wangaratta Jazz Festival outdoor stage. Sanfona have toured to regional Victoria with their Sanfona Summer Tour 2026, performing at The Maurocco Bar; Castlemaine; Bright Brewery; and Handle Bar, Bendigo.
