Since their humble beginnings in a run down shed on the north of Brisbane in 2014, Binary
Pulse, formerly known as Flynn Effect, have gone on to share the stage with heavyweights
such as Lacuna Coil, The Tea Party and Seether, along with releasing two studio albums
and two EP’s. In the fog of the 2020 pandemic, a new record began taking shape, almost
writing itself. Four years later, Binary Pulse are ready to unveil their long-awaited new album,
Under Granite Skies – out independently on March 7.

Under Granite Skies is the third studio album from the band, and the first under the Binary
Pulse name. An ambitious offering both sonically and lyrically, Under Granite Skies explores
the wonders and woes of the modern world, humanity’s innate talent for self-destruction, but
also its heart and infinite capacity for hope and renewal. The record’s narrative follows an
imagined future where humanity overcomes the apocalypse and brings a broken world back
into harmony – the end of war, and the beginning of a new era of tolerance and peace. It is a
journey through aspirational stories of forgiveness, growth and love, delivering a message
the band hopes will resonate with anyone hoping to see the light in the darkness
surrounding us all.

Mixed by the band and mastered by the legendary Forrester Savell, Under Granite Skies
promises a rich and immersive experience for listeners of all gernes.
To celebrate the release of their most diverse release yet, the band is thrilled to be
showcasing the new album with an epic album launch on the 22 nd of March, at Bergy
Bandroom, with special guests Echotide (Brisbane), Seas of Titan and Verona Lights
