The Pit Vol. 1 is the first edition of a new heavy music night from The Mansfield Sessions — a live music series built to let's audiences witness original Australian artists in a world-class venue.

This show is a chance for fans to get around Brisbane's heavy scene, hear new music live, and experience emerging Australian heavy artists on the legendary Mansfield Arena stage, now transformed into a more intimate curtain-drawn format.

Featuring Twisted Lullaby, Doom Bride, Mezmik, and Ember, our first lineup brings together dark alt-metal energy, heavy riffs, melodic metal, and fresh local fire for the southside's new heavy club night.

The Mansfield Sessions is Brisbane Southside's new home for original live music — a weekly event series showcasing Australian artists across a different genre each week.

Hosted on the legendary Mansfield Arena stage in a more intimate curtain-drawn format, each session gives audiences the chance to discover incredible original artists with world-class sound, lighting and production.

From indie and folk to rock, punk, country and beyond, The Mansfield Sessions is built to celebrate Brisbane's diverse music scenes and create a regular home for original music on the southside.
