MATINEE SHOW 2pm, with special guest Karl S Williams.

Please come and join us for a very rare show away from home, in my old hometown.. See you out there.

Songs steeped in a decade or more, have been performed on stages, in bar rooms, backyards, and at festivals across Canada, the USA, and Australia, mending broken spirits and transforming strangers into family. As a body of work, the long awaited, almost lost album 'Hard Rhyme' stands in strong opposition to the fracturing of social digitisation and presents itself as the organic whole that when trusted with space and time, deepens in value and ripens in wisdom. Matthew's guiding voice and guitar are afforded the reflective expanse of a drum-less record, adorned with the impressionistic landscape of pedal steel and the steady rumination of upright bass. The writing is real, the music immediate, and all a river ready to bathe your soul.

“Matthew Colin… a new discovery to me… his deep guitar tone and poignant song craft really struck me.... if you love that as many of you did, the virtual switchboard did light up for Matthew Colin, I’d suggest you look up his website …. we heard the tune sprawling and beautiful, called Coyote” - Henry Wagons, ABC Double J

“I think this is how true storytelling is done. He does not have an air of pretentiousness, rather, he projects confidence because he has lived the things he writes and sings about, as opposed to some songwriters who are very hard to believe or relate to.” - Gig Review, Lone Riot Music Blog

Matthew is joind by dear friend Karl S Williams, born and raised on Bundjalung (and later Gamilaroi) Country he has become a perennial wanderer with no real home. He plays the piano, guitar and banjo and sings hard songs of good times and good songs of hard times inspired by old country blues, gospel and mountain music.

Can't wait.
